Quick answer: n8n runs the workflows, Claude does most of the thinking, Vapi and ElevenLabs handle voice, and Cloudflare hosts it all on the free plan. Here is what each tool does in my real work, and what I stopped paying for.

What I dropped

Lovable
Great for a fast first version. I moved this site to plain code on Cloudflare for full control and $0 hosting.
Paid database tiers
Didn’t need them yet. Cloudflare’s free tier covers this site’s forms and data.
Paid AI image APIs
Too costly per image for what I needed. I draw simple illustrations in code instead.
